Presentation at the Japan Association for African Studies (Oyama, Shioya, Aoike, Noda)

At the Japan Association for African Studies (Kyoto University), sub-leader Akiyo Shioya presented “Recycling of Organic Waste in Kampala, Uganda: Utilization of food waste and expansion of pig farming”, researcher Aoike presented “Climate Change and Incidents of Fire in Arid Urban Areas: Reflections on Frequent Fires that Threaten the Citizens of Niamey, Niger”, researcher Noda presented” Poison Monkey which became a Tourist Attraction: Focus on the social movement around Tanzania’s Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park and its surroundings. ”, and PL Ohyama spoke at the public symposium “Tsukuru -Tsunageru -Tsumiageru (Create, Connect and Build up) African Area Studies x Social Implementation”.
