The project’s efforts were featured in The Japan News by the YOMIURI SHIMBUN (March 19, evening edition)

The Japan News by the YOMIURI SHIMBUN evening edition dated March 19, Eeyan! KANSAI” featured the project’s activities.

The article introduces my unique composting project at the Westin Miyako Hotel Kyoto (Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City) as a measure against food loss. Executive Chef Yasuhiro Yoshida and Jun Mori of Hidekichi Mori Farm are also featured in the newspaper.

Also featured is a mini-compost developed by our Collaborative Researcher, Yumi Yamanashi, with the cooperation of the Kyoto City Zoo near the hotel. I really appreciate their continued support.

We would like to work to alleviate and solve environmental problems by shifting to a recycling-oriented society, little by little.
